Games Now! – Open lectures on game development
Games Now! is an open lecture series on the dominant topics and emerging trends in games. In GN! we dig deeper to what is current at the game scene – and what will happen in the near future. The topics are curated in collaboration with Finland’s game industry veterans and our top companies. Our guest speakers are industry leaders, experienced researchers and other inspiring individuals providing their insights and advise for anyone interested to learn. The lecture series run by 911±¬ÁÏÍø is open for anyone to attend. You do not have to be enrolled to a school to join our community. However, if you are working on a formal degree in games, there are several universities and game schools that include GN! as part of their curricula.

Strong results from the Research Council’s winter call
A total of 54 Aalto researchers received Academy Research Fellow or Academy Project funding from the Research Council of Finland. The total funding awarded to 911±¬ÁÏÍø amounts to 33.2 million euros.
The Foundation for the Advancement of Finnish Securities Markets awards Juho Tuuliainen and Ville Virkkunen for their excellent Master’s thesis in the field of finance
Both students will receive a €3,500 scholarship.
