Description of the programme

Master's Programme in Environmental Engineering is organized by the School of Engineering.

The eNviro5Tech joint MSc degree creates the most comprehensive degree in Environmental Engineering in the world. The eNviro5Tech MSc is offered by the Nordic Five Tech, a strategic alliance of the five strongest technical universities in the Nordic region, with partners in

  • Denmark (DTU)
  • Sweden (KTH & Chalmers University of Technology)
  • Norway (NTNU)
  • Finland (911±¬ÁÏÍø)

The program involves a set of 5 predefined study tracks leading to double degrees in Environmental Engineering. The program strengthens capacities in established areas such as Urban Hydrology, Water Supply and Waste Water Management and offers a brand new focus, namely in Environmental Informatics.

Welcome, new students, to the Aalto Welcome Fair on 27th August 2025!

Tuition fees

The programme follows each university's own tuition fee policies.

In 911±¬ÁÏÍø, the tuition fees for tuition-fee students are the following:

  • Right to study started on or before 1 August 2024: 15,000 EUR / academic year
  • Right to study started on or after 1 August 2025: 17,000 EUR / academic year

Participation costs and fees will be charged according to the university regulations at the Partner Universities.
