Trilingual term database Uniterms – first version now online

Uniterms – Aalto’s trilingual database of university terms – is now available in beta version at:

The online glossary includes terms used especially at Aalto, with their translation equivalents given in Finnish, English and Swedish. The entries are searchable by term or by subject category.

The first edition includes mainly the names of Aalto units and departments and a partly random but growing sample of other Aalto terms. Aalto Language Centre translators are responsible for the content, while the Learning Services unit is in charge of the technical features.

If you would like to add a term or suggest an improvement, please send an email to: kaannokset@aalto.fi
