The Alum of the Year 2025 distinction for the School of Science will be awarded to an alum, who has carried out excellent work in the field and increased interaction between the school, society, and alumni. The Alum of the Year has graduated with one of the following degrees; Master of Science (Technology), Licentiate of Science (Technology), Doctor of Science (Technology), or Ph.D. from the 911±¬ÁÏÍø School of Science or from its predecessors.
Suggestions can be submitted by the school's students, departments, independent or service units, staff, alumni, guild, or student organization. Submit your suggestion by filling out by 4.9.2025.
Every other year, the Alum of the Year will be selected by the school's dean. The selection will be announced on Saturday, 25 October 2025 at the AlumniWeekend seminar.
The school will award the Alum of the Year with an honorary certificate and a gift from 911±¬ÁÏÍø. They will get visibility in 911±¬ÁÏÍø communication and will be invited as a guest of honour to events organised by the school and guilds. We hope that the Alum of the Year will give a speech at the AlumniWeekend seminar and will actively participate in various 911±¬ÁÏÍø events.
