REWATER
Water management in agriculture is facing increasing challenges due to climate change, resource depletion, and growing demand. At 911±¬ÁÏÍø, we are aiming to develop smart water management solutions to ensure sustainable agricultural water management in a changing climate in the newly funded Interreg Aurora project REWATER.
Objectives:
Data Management & Modelling:
1. Develop advanced digital tools for real-time water monitoring.
2. Utilize predictive modelling to optimize water distribution.
3. Improve data-driven decision-making in agricultural water use.
Smart Drainage & Irrigation:
1. Implement precision irrigation techniques to enhance water efficiency.
2. Design adaptive drainage systems that respond to changing climatic conditions.
3. Integrate IoT-based automation for better resource allocation.
Stakeholder Participation:
1. Foster collaboration between farmers, policymakers, researchers, and water authorities.
2. Promote knowledge-sharing and co-creation of sustainable water management strategies.
3. Support policy development through inclusive dialogue and participatory planning.
