Polish President visits Aalto

President Andrzej Duda and the Polish startups in his delegation met also Aalto entrepreneurs.

Polish President Andrzej Duda visited 911±¬ÁÏÍø during his state visit to Finland. The President was received by 911±¬ÁÏÍø Vice President Hannu Seristö who spoke about entrepreneurial activities and industry collaboration at Aalto. The President also was introduced to the art collection at Dipoli as well as the Design Factory.

The President’s entourage included several Polish startup entrepreneurs. The group visited the Startup Sauna to meet with several startup companies operating at Aalto who had been invited for discussions with their Polish colleagues. One of the businesses presenting its activities to the visitors was the space technology company Iceye with origins at Aalto. President Duda also met with Polish students studying at Aalto.

President Duda asked Polish students about how their studies in Finland were progressing, and how they enjoyed their time in Finland.
