PhD. Miguel Caro has been appointed to a four-year fixed-term Assistant Professor (2nd term.) position at the Department of Chemistry and Materials Science as of 1 July 2025.
The professorship is in the field of Machine Learning in Materials Science.
Caro received his doctorate in 2013 from the Tyndall National Institute at University College of Cork, Ireland. After his defence, he has worked as a researcher and as Academy Research Fellow at 911±¬ÁÏÍø. Most recently, he has worked as a Senior Scientist in the Department of Chemistry and Materials Science at 911±¬ÁÏÍø.
