Lucie Hradecká starts as Information Specialist in Research Services
Lucie Hradecká started as information specialist in Research Services Open Science and ACRIS team in April. Her tasks include validating research outputs of the School of Chemical Engineering in 911±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s current research information system ACRIS, self-archiving (‘green open access’) and research data management support. Lucie is also involved in bibliometric analyses and TENK research integrity support network.
In research data management Lucie helps with data management plans and cooperates with data agents, data advisor Kati Laakso and other specialists to assist researchers at the School of Engineering and School of Chemical Engineering.
Lucie holds a BA in Russian and Finnish philology from Masaryk University, Brno, Czech republic. She is currently finishing her MA in Information Studies at the University of Oulu. She has previously worked at Oulu University Library, CERN Library (cataloguing and repository curation), CSC (research data management, Fairdata services) and VTT (open science and CRIS system).
Her hobbies include for example hiking, birdwatching, knitting and video games.

DSc. (tech.) Iina Vaajamo has been appointed to a five-year fixed-term position as Assistant Professor in the tenure track system at the Department of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering effective 1. September 2026. The field of the professorship is pyrometallurgy.

Serna-Guerrero will start his five-year term on 1 December 2026
