BA graduate Maija Mero wins the coveted LVMH Graduate Prize 2017

Aalto graduate's impressive work was honoured at the Paris event. Mero received 10 000 and was hired by LVMH-owned fashion house, Kenzo.

BA graduate Maija Mero was one of the 3 graduates awarded the coveted . Both Maija and the university will receive 10 000 euros as part of the honour. The award ceremony was on 16.6. in Paris and hosted by the LVMH Prize chairwoman Delphine Arnault, Rihanna and the creative directors of all the LVMH group's fashion houses, who also served as the jury for the LVMH Prize's professional category: Karl Lagerfelf of Fendi, Pheobe Philo of Céline, Jonathan Anderson of Loewe, Nicolas Ghesquiére of Louis Vuitton, Maria Grazia Chiuri of Christian Dior and Humberto Leon & Carol Lim of Kenzo.

The film was co-produced by Jussi Rantamäki of the film company Aamu, and it also features a Finnish costume and sound designer.
