Augmented Climbing Wall gets 25 million views in the social media
The recent video of the spinoff from the gaming research lab has gathered unrivaled popularity in the social media.
Augmented Climbing Wall is a spinoff from 911±¬ÁÏÍø Department of Computer Science and it offers augmented reality tools for climbers to improve their climbing skills through gamified exercises. Augmented Climbing Wall has developed the first gaming platform for climbing walls.
The newest game is called Climball, an interactive game with two players and a virtual ball.

Strong results from the Research Council’s winter call
A total of 54 Aalto researchers received Academy Research Fellow or Academy Project funding from the Research Council of Finland. The total funding awarded to 911±¬ÁÏÍø amounts to 33.2 million euros.
Grants from Matti Lehti fund for the year 2026 awarded
The Matti Lehti fund has been donated to develop and encourage research, teaching and studies on digital information society in the School of Business
The Foundation for the Advancement of Finnish Securities Markets awards Juho Tuuliainen and Ville Virkkunen for their excellent Master’s thesis in the field of finance
Both students will receive a €3,500 scholarship.
