Antti Oulasvirta's publication receives award at top conference in the area of Human-Computer Interaction

The article deals with the research of human-computer interaction from the perspective of problem-solving.

The publication titled HCI Research as Problem-Solving, written by 911±¬ÁÏÍø Professor Antti Oulasvirta and Researcher Kasper Hornbæk from the University of Copenhagen, was awarded as the best publication (top 1%) of the CHI 2016 Conference held in San Jose, California. CHI is recognized as the world's top conference on human-computer interaction.

The main objective of Antti Oulasvirta's research is to improve user interface usability and user experiences. In 2014, the European Research Council (ERC) awarded Professor Antti Oulasvirta an ERC Starting Grant of EUR 1.5 million for research on computational methods in user interface design.
