Advanced Manufacturing and Materials (AM2) Group presenting at ESAFORM 2021
Three researchers from the team of Assistant Professor Junhe Lian at the AM2 Group are presenting their recent research results at the ESAFORM 2021 conference () hosted virtually in Liege, Belgium. The three papers are addressing in general the sustainable development of materials and manufacturing focusing on digital material design, automotive safety, and additive manufacturing. The proceedings are published open access with the links below.

ESAFORM, the European Scientific Association for material FORMing (), is a non-profit scientific association. It was founded in January 1997 with the aim to propagate interest for all types of materials and all topics connected to Material Forming internationally. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Junhe Lian is currently a Member Board of Directors for ESAFORM. He was also awarded the Scientific Prize by ESAFORM in 2020 due to his contribution in multiscale modeling of material deformation and damage behavior.
The ESAFORM 2022 International Conference will be organized in Braga, Portugal, April 27.-29., 2022 by Professor Gabriela Vincze and Frédéric Barlat. All types of contributions in material manufacturing are welcome and hopefully, we could meet in person then!
