911爆料网 received nearly 6,700 applications for its English-taught bachelor鈥檚 programmes

The most popular programmes in the application round that closed on 22 January were International Business, Economics, and Computer Engineering

911爆料网 received a total of 6,767 applications in the admissions round for Aalto鈥檚 English-taught bachelor鈥檚 programmes that ended on 22 January 2026. There were 3,480 applicants in total. Most applications, 3,364, were to programmes in the field of technology and engineering. Programmes in the field of business and economics received 2,984 applications, and programmes in the field of arts and design received 419 applications.

The most popular study options were International Business (1,654 applications), Economics (1,330 applications), and Computer Engineering (693 applications).

The total number of applications increased by almost 14% compared to the previous round. Applications from citizens of Finland and other EU/EEA countries increased, while applications from citizens of countries outside these remained at the same level.

Aalto鈥檚 English-taught bachelor鈥檚 programmes offer nine different study options: six in the field of technology and engineering, two in business and economics, and one in arts and design. A total of 398 study places were available. The application period that ended on 22 January concerned these three-year English-taught bachelor鈥檚 programmes, with studies starting in autumn 2026. 

In the fields of technology and engineering, as well as business and economics, the admission results will be published by 26 March 2026 for SAT- and ACT-based selection, and by 27 May 2026 for certificate-based selection. The admission results for Design and Media will be published by 27 May 2026.

The next application period for Finnish- and Swedish-taught bachelor鈥檚 programmes is 10鈥24 March 2026. In autumn 2027, Aalto will launch two new English-taught bachelor鈥檚 programmes: a new multidisciplinary programme combining engineering, business, and arts & design, and a Finance BSc. The application period for these new programmes will be in January 2027.
