Aalto to strengthen collaboration with Tsinghua University

Ministers witnessed as Aalto President Tuula Teeri signed an MoU.
911±¬ÁÏÍø President Tuula Teeri and Tsinghua University Chairman Professor Chen Xu signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further their already existing collaboration.

911±¬ÁÏÍø President Tuula Teeri and Tsinghua University Chairman Professor Chen Xu signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further their already existing collaboration. Tsinghua is one of China’s most prestigious universities. Tsinghua and Aalto share a membership of several international networks and also partner in student and staff mobility as well as in several joint projects. 

The signing took place in Kesäranta, the official residence of the Prime Minister of Finland. The Tsinghua memorandum coincided with the visit by Liu Yandong, Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China to Finland. Prime Minister Juha Sipilä and Minister of Education and Culture Sanni Grahn-Laasonen were also present.
