Aalto Mac: Network settings to be updated

The network settings of Aalto Mac laptops will be updated. The updates will start during Christmas. Network settings take care of, among other things, the authentication of a computer when connecting to the wireless Aalto network.

Your computer will be updated automatically when you connect to a network. A remote connection (VPN) to Aalto network does not need to be on for the updates. You do not need to do anything.

If your computer has been offline for a long time, there may be a delay in connecting to the wireless Aalto network on campus. If your computer cannot connect to the Aalto network, use the Aalto open network instead.

What do I need to do for my computer to update?

You do not need to do anything. Your computer will be updated automatically when you connect to a network.

Why are the network settings of Aalto Mac laptops being updated?
